Legs are 1 ¼” heavy-duty 16 gauge tubing – two gauges stronger than the competition. Gas shield metal arc welding of joints provides exceptional strength. The frame is contoured to fit the shape of the 5/8” Melsur™* solid seat. Solid plastic is stain/wear resistant and self-extinguishing. The seats and backs are attached with steel rivets underneath the plastic resulting in no exposed hardware on the surface. The Melsur™ seat has a waterfall edge to improve seating comfort. Top is 18” x 24” Melsur™* 5/8” solid plastic with beveled “Ergo Edge” for comfortable seating. An oversized pencil groove is included. ¼” wire dual entry 13” x 11” x 8” book basket. Bright nickel chrome plating meets all present requirements for noncorrosive and abrasion resistant finishes. High shoulder nylon glides with an internal gripper spring. Glides are 1 ¼” diameter and a 40 degree full-swivel with a ½” shoulder. Metal glides are optional.
