The Scholar Craft Kaleidoscope® SC4700SP Tri4 Triangle Desk features a 27½"×36⅖" triangular work surface. The Tri4 shape provides another way to organize Kaleidoscope desks into learning pods and can be used to create different classroom layouts around the needs of the activity. The standard 5/8" Melsur® solid plastic top is made with 100% recycled wood flour and melamine resin and provides a smooth, stain resistant, dry erasable, and fire-retardant surface with Scholar Craft's soft rounded Ergo Edge.

The SC4700SP adjusts from 22" to 32" and features a unitized welded frame combining 16-gauge and 14-gauge steel components. Felt, steel, and boot glides are available, along with locking casters for classrooms where layouts change throughout the day. Book boxes, racks, and book bag hooks can also be specified for additional storage and organization. The Kaleidoscope SC4790SP Standing Height Desk uses the same 27½"×36⅖" Tri4 Triangle surface and adjusts from 33" to 42". Additional surface constructions include particleboard with HPL and T-mold edge or MDF with a non-permeable polyurea edge, with a premium White Marker Board laminate available as an upgraded surface option.
