The Scholar Craft Kaleidoscope® SC4300SP Vertebrae Desk features a patented 18" × 30" work surface with a shape designed to bring students together in small learning pods while making efficient use of classroom space. The Melsur® solid plastic top is 5/8" thick and made with 100% recycled wood flour and melamine resin, creating a smooth, stain-resistant work surface. A soft rounded Ergo Edge provides a more comfortable edge for students during extended use.

The SC4300SP has a unitized welded frame constructed with 16-gauge and 14-gauge steel components and adjusts from 22" to 32" to accommodate different student heights and classroom applications. Felt, steel, and boot glides are available, along with locking casters for added mobility. For a taller work surface, the Kaleidoscope SC4390SP Standing Height Desk adjusts from 33" to 42" and uses the same 18" × 30" Vertebrae top and unitized frame construction. The desk is also available with alternate surface constructions, including high-pressure laminate, T-mold edge, and MDF with a non-permeable polyurea edge.
