Scholar Craft Products, Inc. of Birmingham, AL is pleased to announce the acquisition of the assets of CDF School Furniture, from Worcester Manufacturing based in Worcester, Massachusetts. Worcester Manufacturing Incorporated has been a metal finishing and fabrication company for over 50 years. In 1964 it started manufacturing a new line of tubular steel furniture for use in school classrooms. The simple, elegant but strong designs have become industry standards.
Scholar Craft will assume all sales, marketing and distribution for the CDF School Furniture line immediately. In addition, Scholar Craft will be expanding their classroom furniture manufacturing operations at CDF's Worcester Massachusetts location. The additional manufacturing will benefit our in the Mid-Atlantic and New England states through substantial freight savings and an increased product offering.
