Crossover leg design is a Scholar
Craft first and is the strongest in
the industry.

Thermofuse tabletops allow a
greater variety of color and surface
options.

Scholar Craft uses the heaviest
gauges in the industry to produce
the strongest classroom furniture.
For over 50 years Scholar Craft has been committed to designing and manufacturing school furniture that is durable, attractive and ergonomically constructed to provide for a comfortable and secure learning experience.

All of the furniture we manufacture is a lasting investment that will be used for years. Operating nine facilities in two states, we have been continually investing in upgrading our facilities, our talent and our capabilities. Scholar Craft products are the most durable in the market. Our legs and back supports are 14 and 16 gauge tubular steel--one gauge heavier than most manufacturers. For even more strength, we incorporate a crossover leg design, an industry first. To insure a long life and attractive appearance, all frame elements are individually nickel chromed prior to  assembly. With Scholar Craft you are assured a finish that is hard, bright and virtually maintenance free.

Tarrant, Alabama serves as our assembly facility and corporate offices. The purchase of our 14th robotic welder has enabled us to meet the greater demand for our products and maintain our lead time which is among the lowest in the industry at 4 weeks in peak summer months. We maintain an exclusive quick ship program of 5 to 7 business days throught the year of our best selling products.

Our Fort Smith, Arkansas facility manufactures all of our activity tables and particleboard desktops utilizing Wilson Art laminates. The tops on Scholar Craft tables are Board of Education approved and conform to all relevant ANSI and NEMA standards. Our customers believe the quality, design, materials and construction that go into our tables make them the best value on the market today. The Irondale, Alabama facility produces commercial furniture products and houses our state of the art powder coating system. In Birmingham and Warrior, Alabama our facilities produce both solid plastic and injection molded components for our classroom furniture.
